Located in one of Victoria’s most historically significant neighborhoods, Bastion Square, the Victoria Francophone Society sought to connect their offices directly to the adjacent plaza with a new staircase and lift. AMCA designed a minimalistic steel structure to complement, rather than compete with, the neighboring historic brick buildings. The design incorporates decorative fleur-de-lis elements, a nod to the traditional architectural details of the district.
